Position Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate C &F Support Worker (Grade 6) to provide essential support services to children and families within our community. This role requires an individual who is passionate about making a positive impact in the lives of others and can work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide direct support and care for children and young people, ensuring their physical, emotional, and educational needs are met.
- Work closely with families to develop and implement individualised care plans that promote the child’s welfare and family unity.
- Monitor and report on the progress of children and families, updating records as required.
- Collaborate with other professionals such as social workers, therapists, and educators to ensure a coordinated approach to service delivery.
- Participate in the planning and delivery of group activities and programs aimed at child development and family strengthening.
- Maintain confidentiality and adhere to all legal and organisational policies regarding child protection and data security.
You must have:
- Post qualified experience.
- Enhanced DBS/Update service.
- References required for the last 5 years of employment.
