Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Chef to join our team. The Chef will be responsible for menu development, kitchen management, and ensuring the highest standards of food quality and hygiene.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and prepare high-quality dishes in line with restaurant’s concept.
  • Plan menus in collaboration with other colleagues.
  • Manage and mentor kitchen staff, establishing a culture of excellence and growth.
  • Ensure compliance with all health and safety regulations within the kitchen area.
  • Source ingredients from suppliers, maintaining a good relationship and ensuring high standards of produce.
  • Oversee the kitchen inventory, equipment, and budget.
  • Experiment with recipes and suggest new ingredients.
  • Train and develop staff on proper cooking techniques and plating presentations.
  • Stay current with industry trends and incorporate modern techniques into the menu.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience as a Chef with a minimum of 3 years in a professional kitchen.
  • A culinary school diploma or equivalent professional qualification.
  • Excellent understanding of various cooking methods, ingredients, equipment, and procedures.
  • Familiarity with sanitation regulations.
  • Strong leadership, motivational, and people skills.
  • Creativity and an eye for detail in food plating.
  • Great time-management abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and stressful environment without compromising on food quality.
